Opera Cake

French Opera Cake is made with three layers of almond sponge cake (known as Joconde in French). These layers are soaked in coffee syrup, layered with chocolate ganache, coffee, and French buttercream, covered in a chocolate glaze. The combination of coffee and chocolate is uniquely refreshing, invigorating and exhilarating. The chocolate quickly melts leaving one’s tastebuds with a long-lasting sense of pleasure and satisfaction.
