Maria went above and beyond our expectations! Our two tiered wedding cake was perfect and the guests were raving about how delicious it was! We trusted Maria’s vision and were blown away by how beautiful the cake looked and how amazing it tasted!
I got a cake for my dad’s birthday - was done to perfection - the chocolate fudge cake with white fondant was amazing. Ahead of time, Sara, Mia and the entire team checked what color of fondant etc would work for the cake. I don’t think there’s another place that can compete for custom-great-tasting cakes!
I had Les Gateaux de Marie bake my wedding cake and it came out perfectly! Maria was so helpful, she texted me back and forth answering all of my questions, her prices are very reasonable for a wedding cake, and the cake was delicious! I sent her a photo of what I wanted my wedding cake to look like and she replicated it perfectly.
Our wedding cake from Les Gateaux de Marie was absolutely perfect! It was beautiful, delicious, and customized to our vision. The attention to detail was remarkable, and the cake was incredibly fresh. We’re already looking forward to enjoying a slice on our one year anniversary. Highly recommend!
I just want to say how amazing this bakery is! They made the most STUNNING cake for my birthday party and it was delicious. Also, the cake box was too big to fit in my fridge, I let them know and they came right away, picked it up for me and stored the cake overnight at the bakery. That was a huge help and I appreciated it a lot. Thank you so much for everything!!!
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit to the bakery! We got to meet Marie and she is absolutely charming! We both had a chocolate croissant and coffee, both were delicious! We left with several delicacies to enjoy later! The pistachio, raspberry cake was incredible! Already looking forward to our next trip to NYC so we can stop by Marie’s bakery!
We have used Les Gateaux a couple of times now and will be back for more I’m sure . Her cakes taste delicious and her customer service goes above and beyond . We were in a pinch for a quick turn around for a birthday party cake and she made it happen for us . Very pleased and so were our guests .
Marie the owner is a lovely woman who has done a fabulous job building her bakery business. We purchased a whole cheese 🍰 cake, which was exquisitely delicious! All our family enjoyed it tremendously! The croissants mousse, and macaroons were also very delicious. We will visit this bakery again, the next time we make it to Manhattan... Yum!!
Maria and her team were most accommodating in helping to bring our cake vision to life for our son’s second birthday. The cake looked great and was absolutely delicious. The cupcakes were perfectly suited to the kids’ tastes. The team was very communicative and everything was ready on time and budget. Highly recommend.
Maria is an expert and her hands are magical. I had two kids visiting and their bday fell during their trip. Plus they are gluten allergic. I showed up to Maria and told her I needed something for kids and gluten free. The rest she did. An amazing dark chocolate mousse cake that will make you an addict for more. It was amazing. We ordered kinder bueno cake for our baby shower and it was the best cake I’ve had in my lifewithout exaggeration. Marie had outdone herself. So fresh and yummy, with so many different layers and flavors. All of our guests were raving about it and wanted to know where we got the cake from. Thank you Marie!
Her carrot cake with brown butter frosting is legendary. Uses real vanilla beans and European butter - you can taste the difference. Made my wedding cake last minute when another baker flaked. Now does my kid's birthday cakes every year - always the hit of the party!!!! 10/10 recommended!
